Day 1: Seattle, Washington

Seattle sits on the slip of land between Puget Sound and Lake Washington, with the Olympic and Cascade Mountains serving as a dramatic backdrop for this cosmopolitan city. Soar up the futuristic Space Needle and experience the views atop this stunning landmark created for the 1962 World’s Fair.

Day 2: At Sea

Your day at sea will allow you to take full advantage of everything the ship has to offer. Seek out hidden treasures and make the most of the facilities onboard. All of the ships activities can be found on the vessels daily newsletter. If relaxation is on your mind then your sea day will allow you to sit back, soak in ship life and watch the world as it floats by you.

Day 3: Juneau, Alaska

The only state capital in the USA that can only be reached by boat or seaplane. With no road access and its extreme remote location, the wildlife and wilderness in Juneau are second to none! Go sea kayaking, pan for gold, visit a salmon hatchery, or take a whale watching trip. Don’t miss the Mendenhall Glacier and a glimpse back to the ice-age!

Day 4: Skagway, Alaska

Gold was discovered nearby in 1896, causing Skagway to grow quickly. You can see gold rush era buildings preserved in the Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park. Another activity from this period, the Yukon Route Rail Road will take you on a vintage locomotive tour of the area with fantastic views out over the mountains.

Day 5: Icy Strait Point, Alaska

Icy Strait Point offers travellers the chance to view stunning wildlife like humpback whales, orcas, seals, eagles, and brown bears. You can then explore monuments of the region’s fishing heritage.

Day 6: Sitka, Alaska

Located on the Alaskan island of Baranof, Sitka was once the capital of Russian America. Discover the city’s history, go on a fishing trip, or visit the Raptor Centre to see where injured eagles and other wild birds are rehabilitated and eventually released into the wild.

Day 7: Cruise Glacier Bay

One of the highlights of this cruise is exploring Glacier Bay National Park. Comprised of 3.3 million acres of natural wonders, it is home to magnificent glaciers (especially Sawyer Glacier), snow-capped mountains and an abundance of birds and wildlife.

Day 8: Ketchikan, Alaska

Today’s adventure brings us to Ketchikan, another fascinating location on the Alaskan coast. Visit a Native American village, watch a lumberjack show, take a trip to the Misty Fjords or go crab fishing!

Day 9: Victoria, Canada

Roam the spacious lawns of stunning Butchart Gardens with its exotic flora, unusual topiary and exquisite fountains. Explore historic Bastion Square, the treasures of Chinatown and the many sights and sounds of the Inner Harbour.

Day 10: Seattle, Washington

Seattle sits on the slip of land between Puget Sound and Lake Washington, with the Olympic and Cascade Mountains serving as a dramatic backdrop for this cosmopolitan city. Soar up the futuristic Space Needle and experience the views atop this stunning landmark created for the 1962 World’s Fair.

A smaller ship accommodating 1,936 cruise passengers, the Norwegian Sun offers Mexican Riviera cruises which sail through the Panama Canal, Alaska cruises, and Caribbean cruises. Built in 2001 and refurbished in 2018, she is equipped with everything you would expect from an NCL cruise liner including a spa, casino, 14 dining options, daily activities, nightly entertainment plus 12 bars and lounges. Choose from two main dining rooms, casual cafes, grills and signature dishes with an array of wine options. Head to Cagney’s Steakhouse for a delicious steak & wine combo, authentic Italian meals at La Cucina or french cuisine at Le Bistro. You’ll be hard pressed to decide on your favourite bar and lounge. Enjoy a casual coffee or cocktail at the Atrium Cafe & Bar, spend a night under the disco lights in Dazzles Nightclub, or head to the sports bar to watch live games all around the world.
