Day 1: Barcelona, Spain
Welcome to the cultural hub of Spain, Barcelona! Explore the stunning sights such as the Sagrada Familia and enjoy the local tapas for some truly delicious cuisine.
Day 2: Cannes, France
Situated on the French Riviera, Cannes is home to the annual, international film festival. Home to upmarket boutiques, palatial hotels, pristine beaches and the epicentre of French luxury and style.
Day 3: Florence (Livorno), Italy
Florence, capital of Italy’s Tuscany region, is home to many masterpieces of Renaissance art and architecture. Florence’s most iconic sights are the Duomo, Uffizi Gallery, Ponte Vecchio, Palazzo Vecchio & Piazza della Signoria. Florence is also home to the famous David of Michelangelo statue. Florence is a beautiful city best explored by foot, however if you wish to venture away from the city, Florence may be your starting point for a day trip to see the Leaning Tower of Pisa, explore the Tuscan villages, or the colourful seaside towns of Cinque Terre.
Day 4: Naples, Italy
Cruise to Naples, located on Italy’s stunning Amalfi coast, a city embellished in history. Touring around Naples’ grand piazzas, cathedrals and castles in the old centre will fill that cultural need. Pompeii is not too far either, a dashing city which boasts diverse cultural offerings and charming streets.
Day 5: Messina (Sicily), Italy
Stroll through Messina’s Piazza Cairoli taking in magnificent fountains and cathedrals, or sip Marsala wine at a sidewalk cafe. Messina welcomes cruise ship visitors with its lovely harbour, extraordinary architecture (much of which survived a disastrous earthquake and tidal wave in 1908) and wonderful food.
Day 6: Dubrovnik, Croatia
Despite the magnificent 13th century walls that surround the city, Dubrovnik is one of the most welcoming cruise destinations in all of Europe. Dubbed “the pearl of the Adriatic”, this Croatian city exudes romantic charm and beautiful scenery with its shimmering marble streets, centuries-old buildings capped by bright orange roofs and lovely beaches ensconced between awesome rocky ledges.
Day 7: Corfu, Greece
One of the lushest of the Greek Isles, Corfu is rimmed in dramatic blue waters and topped with tranquil hillside villages. A collection of quaint cafes in the town of Corfu feels very continental, but the island’s secluded coves and sandy beaches could only be found in the Greek Isles.
Day 8: Santorini, Greece
Santorini is one of the most formidable islands in the world, famed for beautiful food, pristine water and unrivalled sunsets, in the foreground are the post card whitewashed buildings. Perceptions are had about the lost city of Atlantis being located here due to Santorini’s subtle mystery.
Day 9: Athens, Greece
Welcome to Piraeus, the port city of Athens. It is the oldest city in Greece, a guaranteed highlight is the mystical Acropolis, perched high in the hills. Just because this city is vintage don’t think that you’ll be stuck in the past – it is juxtaposed against a modern city filled with shopping, restaurants, culture and beautiful art.
Day 10: Mykonos, Greece
Explore this quintessential Greek island with pristine white houses with blue accents and beautiful beaches. Once you’ve seen one of the famous sunsets, you’ll understand why this is the most visited island in the region!
Day 11: At Sea
Your day at sea will allow you to take full advantage of everything the ship has to offer. Seek out hidden treasures and make the most of the facilities onboard. All of the ships activities can be found on the vessels daily newsletter. If relaxation is on your mind then your sea day will allow you to sit back, soak in ship life and watch the world as it floats by you.
Day 12: Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy
Endless adventures await in Rome. With two and a half thousand years of history, art and culture, it is no wonder Rome is one of the most visited cities on the planet. Gaze at the masterpieces of the Vatican or walk into the past with visits to ancient relics, historic monuments and legendary museums. Or people-watch while sipping on an espresso in a quaint cafe.
