Day 5 – 7: At Sea
Your days at sea will allow you to take full advantage of everything the ship has to offer. Seek out hidden treasures and make the most of the facilities onboard. All of the ship’s activities can be found in the vessel’s daily newsletter. If relaxation is on your mind then your sea day will allow you to sit back, soak in ship life and watch the world as it floats by you.
Day 8: Ushuaia, Argentina
Ushuaia is known for its beautiful wilderness of snow-capped mountains and the icy waters of the Beagle Channel. Covering 63,000 hectares the Tierra del Fuego National Park stretches from the Beagle Channel to the edges of Lago Kami at the southernmost point of Argentine Patagonia. Spend a day to explore the vast terrain of its jagged peaks, glacial valleys, and dense Patagonian forest of lenga beech and coihue.
Day 9: Cape Horn (Scenic Cruising)
Cruise along the southernmost tip of South America, known as a treacherous passage that sees strong winds and icebergs (none of which affect the stable cruise ships that traverse these regions). The Panama Canal rendered this, once popular trade route, useless which means you’ll have the whole place to yourself!
Day 10: Antarctic Sound/Peninsula Scenic Cruising
From jagged mountain peaks adorned in flowing glaciers spilling into the seas and huge open skies to enormous icebergs, mysterious clouds, and constant surprises from the hugely abundant wildlife you see will keep you in a constant state of awe as you cruise through the Antarctic’s Sound and Peninsula. Highlights: Schollaert Channel, Paradise Bay, Antarctica (mainland) and Gerlache Strait, South America
Day 11: Elephant Island/Cape Lookout (Scenic Cruising only)
Situated off the coast of Antarctica, Elephant Island is famous for its wildlife & the fact that the island is shaped like an elephant’s head. This rugged island is home to elephant seals and penguins. Note: Scenic cruising only – No disembarkation permitted.
Day 12: At Sea
Enjoy a relaxing day at sea.
Day 13: Stanley, Falkland Islands
Stanley is the capital of the remote archipelago – The Falkland Islands in the south Atlantic. Stanley is famous for the Magellanic Penguins that gather in the nearby Gypsy Cove. Stanley is home to the beautiful Historic Dockyard Museum & Galleries devoted to maritime exploration, local natural history, the Falklands War & Antarctic heritage. Another amazing thing to see in Stanley is the whalebone arch that stands by the waterfront entrance of the Christ Church Cathedral.
Day 14: At Sea
Enjoy a relaxing day at sea.
Day 15: Puerto Madryn, Argentina
Described as the gateway to Argentine Patagonia, here you can visit the Punta Tombo Nature Reserve or the Paleontology Museum in the Chubut Valley.

Day 17: Montevideo, Uruguay
Situated between Brazil and Argentina, Uruguay is the second smallest country in South America. Over half of the country’s population reside in Montevideo. It is home to 19th-century architecture including arts buildings, stunning parks, and historical monuments.
