Day 1: Milan, Italy

Welcome to Milan, a metropolitan city in Italy’s northern Lombardy region. Milan is said to be Italy’s city of the future, where money talks, creativity is big business and looking good is an art form. Milan is home to Leonardo da Vinci’s mural of The Last Supper, hidden away on a wall in Basilica di Santa Maria Delle Grazie. It is a sight not to be missed. When you are not gazing at the masterful displays of da Vinci’s work, spend your day strolling through the cobbled streets, taking in the city spectacular fashion. Visit the Duomo, an extravagant gothic cathedral and Galleria Vittoria Emanuele II, followed by a spot of aperitivo hopping

Day 2: Lake Como, Italy (Day Tour)

Enjoy a day tour to the Fairytale village of Lake Como nestled between the huge snowcapped Alps that rise up from its shores.

Day 3: Milan, Italy

Day at leisure to explore the sights of Milan.

Day 4: Rome, Italy

Scenic Rail Journey – Milan to Rome. Endless adventures await in Rome. With two and a half thousand years of history, art and culture, it is no wonder Rome is one of the most visited cities on the planet. Gaze at the masterpieces of the Vatican or walk into the past with visits to ancient relics, historic monuments and legendary museums. Or people-watch while sipping on an espresso in a quaint cafe.

Day 5: Rome, Italy

Day at leisure to explore the ancient sights of Rome.

Day 6: Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy

Embark your cruise today.

Day 7: At Sea

Your day at sea will allow you to take full advantage of everything the ship has to offer. Seek out hidden treasures and make the most of the facilities onboard. All of the ship’s activities can be found in the vessel’s daily newsletter. If relaxation is on your mind then your sea day will allow you to sit back, soak in ship life and watch the world as it floats by you.

Day 8: Santorini, Greece

Santorini is one of the most formidable islands in the world, famed for beautiful food, pristine water and unrivalled sunsets, in the foreground are the postcard whitewashed buildings. Perceptions are had about the lost city of Atlantis being located here due to Santorini’s subtle mystery.

Day 9: Mykonos, Greece

Explore this quintessential Greek island with pristine white houses with blue accents and beautiful beaches. Once you’ve seen one of the famous sunsets, you’ll understand why this is the most visited island in the region!

Day 10: Corfu, Greece

One of the lushest of the Greek Isles, Corfu is rimmed in dramatic blue waters and topped with tranquil hillside villages. A collection of quaint cafes in the town of Corfu feels very continental, but the island’s secluded coves and sandy beaches could only be found in the Greek Isles.

Day 11: Valletta, Malta

Stroll through Messina’s Piazza Cairoli taking in magnificent fountains and cathedrals, or sip Marsala wine at a sidewalk cafe. Messina welcomes cruise ship visitors with its lovely harbour, extraordinary architecture (much of which survived a disastrous earthquake and tidal wave in 1908) and wonderful food.

Day 12: Messina (Sicily), Italy

Stroll through Messina’s Piazza Cairoli taking in magnificent fountains and cathedrals, or sip Marsala wine at a sidewalk cafe. Messina welcomes cruise ship visitors with its lovely harbour, extraordinary architecture (much of which survived a disastrous earthquake and tidal wave in 1908) and wonderful food.

Day 13: Naples, Italy

Cruise to Naples, located on Italy’s stunning Amalfi coast, a city embellished in history. Touring around Naples’ grand piazzas, cathedrals and castles in the old centre will fill that cultural need. Pompeii is not too far either, a dashing city that boasts diverse cultural offerings and charming streets.

Day 14: Florence (Livorno), Italy

Florence, the capital of Italy’s Tuscany region, is home to many masterpieces of Renaissance art and architecture. Florence’s most iconic sights are the Duomo, Uffizi Gallery, Ponte Vecchio, Palazzo Vecchio & Piazza della Signoria. Florence is also home to the famous David of Michelangelo statue. Florence is a beautiful city best explored on foot, however, if you wish to venture away from the city, Florence may be your starting point for a day trip to see the Leaning Tower of Pisa, explore the Tuscan villages or the colourful seaside towns of Cinque Terre.

Day 15: Rome, Italy

Disembark your cruise and farewell Italy as you fly home today.
