Day 1: Barcelona, Spain

Today jump onboard MSC Virtuosa and get ready to set sail.

Day 2: Marseille, France

Founded in 600BC, Provence (Marseille) is the oldest city in France. The city is filled with terracotta-roofed buildings, while visits to the city of Avignon and quiet locales of Le Baux and Aix en Provence are must do’s.

Day 3: Genoa, Italy

Genoa is known for its key role in maritime trade over several centuries. Narrow streets open onto monumental squares like Piazza de Ferrari, site of an iconic bronze fountain and Teatro Carlo Felice opera house.

Day 4: At Sea

Your full day at sea will allow you to take full advantage of everything your ship has to offer. Seek out hidden treasures and make the most of the facilities onboard. Day 5: Malaga, Spain

An exploration of Malaga will leave you intrigued with its blend of Arabian and European influences. The trip is only complete with a visit to The Alhambra, a fine example of Moorish art.

Day 6: Casablanca, Morocco

Casablanca is the largest city in Morocco, located in the central-western part of the country. The city’s French colonial legacy is seen in its downtown Mauresque architecture, a blend of Moorish style and European art deco. Start with a visit to the central market, a massive kaleidoscope of colours. Then kick off your shoes as you visit the modernist landmark of the Hassan II Mosque, the 3rd largest mosque in the world.

Day 8: Lisbon, Portugal

Welcome to the hilly, coastal capital of Portugal. The views from Sao Jorge Castle will allow you to spot the cities pastel coloured buildings, Tagus Estuary Natural Reserve and the suspension bridge. Venturing slightly outside of the city opens you up to beautiful beaches from Cascais to Estoril!

Day 10: Barcelona, Spain

Today disembark and begin your journey home.
